Notice of Race 2009
Rules
The Regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.
Eligibility and Entry
The regatta is open to keel yachts 21ft and over, sharks and limited one design. Go to www.bronterocks.com for more information and entry form.
Entry Fee
Early registration is $60 up to August 15th and $75 after August 15th.
Sailing Instructions
The sailing instructions will be available at the registration desk during registration times.
Venue
The racing area for all will be approximately 1.5 miles south of the Bronte Harbour Pier.
Racing
There will be 3 scheduled races for Saturday and 2 scheduled races for Sunday.
Scoring
A boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores. If more than four races are held each yacht shall discard their worst score.
Superseded by SI rule 18.2: The Low Point scoring system will apply, modified so that each boat’s series score will be the total of her scores for each race, with her worst score discarded if four or more races have been completed.
Prizes
Series prizes will be awarded to the skipper and crew finishing first through third.
